Réduction d'une ectasie du golfe de la jugulaire - Pr Alexis Bozorg-Grayeli

Il s'agit d'un cas exceptionnel d'ectasie du golfe de la jugulaire dans le conduit auditif externe.
Ce cas a été découvert de façon fortuite devant un examen otoscopique. Sur le scanner on remarque un rocher hyper pneumatisé avec un axe très perpendiculaire de la pyramide pétreuse à l'écaille de l'os temporal. La distance entre le sinus sygmoïde et la paroi postérieure du conduit auditif externe est réduite à zéro.

L'ectasie déborde dans la caisse du tympan et détruit la paroi inférieure du conduit auditif externe.

L'indication chirurgicale a été portée devant le risque d'une hémorragie cataclysmique par traumatisme de coton tige ou autre instrument.
